As a proud member of the AITT (Association of Industrial Truck Trainers) and an AITT accredited training provider, our courses are fully compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, PUWER 98, LOLER, and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, guaranteeing the safe operation of material handling equipment.
Our courses are also conducted in line with ACOP L117 guidance, giving both companies and their employees assurance that the training they receive meets appropriate industry standards.
We cater to individuals at all levels, offering training courses ranging from novice/beginner to experienced/full-time operators. We also offer conversion training for qualified operators who are either seeking to expand their certification or are required to covert to another type of truck.

How we do training
Understanding that every industry has unique requirements, we provide bespoke training courses that are tailored to meet our customers particular needs, whilst at the same time ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations.
Our training is carried out on-site at our customers own premises. The benefit of this is that it reduces training costs for your business and also allows operators to become familiar with the equipment and materials within their regular working environment.
We recognise that some industries operate outside the standard 9-5 working hours, which is why we offer flexible training schedules to accommodate different site requirements.

Training & Refresher Courses.
Novice
The novice course is suitable for those who have no previous forklift training or experience.
The course includes an initial introduction to the equipment, training on daily routine inspections and learning how to safely start, stop and manoeuvre the truck.
As the course progresses, candidates will develop the skills and confidence to begin more complicated manoeuvres such as travelling with loads both forwards and in reverse through confined spaces, and also stacking and de-stacking at various heights.
This course is spread over either 3 to 5 days, depending on candidate numbers.
Experienced
Our Experienced Courses are appropriate for those who are partly experienced having either previously used lift trucks, but do not hold any certification or those who have not used a lift truck in some time.
The Experienced Course is essentially the mid-point course between the novice course and refresher course. This course will allow the operator to build up their confidence, expand on any pre-existing knowledge and guarantee that their skills meet the requirements for safe and efficient operating.
Candidates opting for this course should have some level of experience, meaning the course can be conducted over either 2-3 days, depending on candidate numbers.
Conversion
Many organisations use various types of handling equipment, requiring operators to undergo conversion courses in order to transition onto different equipment. For instance, if your operators are trained to operate a counterbalance forklift, but you also require them to operate a reach truck, a conversion course will be required.
Such a course allows operators to gradually gain confidence, enhance their knowledge, and develop proficiency in handling a similar yet distinct pieces of equipment.
The duration of conversion courses may vary, but we are dedicated to accommodating your needs and delivering a conversion course that aligns with the expectations of both your company and the candidates.
Refresher
HSE guidance recommends qualified operators to attend a refresher course or take a retest every 3-5 years. This is to ensure the operator is still competent to operate the truck safely, efficiently and is able to meet practical and theoretical testing standards.
A typical refresher course for one candidate can be conducted over 4.5 hours. Courses with up to three attendees will be conducted over a full day.
